We are glad to present you the first of a multi part series in honour of Shri Kiran Kamath. After being felicitated as “Gaana Gambhir” Kiran-anna is being bestowed with another coveted title today at Chennai. We present to you the first among a series of recording of his concert.
The occassion for the concert was the Datta Jayanti celebration by GSB Sabha Mulund, which is a great speciality of the Sabha. A concert was arranged two years back with Shri Puttur Narasimha Nayak, where Kiran anna was accompanying him on the Harmonium. We had the fortune of hearing him before Narasimha-maam arrived. .. I missed Kiran’s concert in Dubai couple of years back. He is excellent and I still listen to his CD any time I am driving. Any concerts in Bangalore?
