Balachandra Prabhu‘s magical voice accompanied by Shri Kiran Kamath’s Harmonium held Mumbai audience totally spellbound. The occassion was very special. It was his first classical concert in Mumbai. Radio Idli had the privilege of organizing his first ever performance in Mumbai, which was left its resonance in the Devotional Genre at the Kurla Balaji Mandir. Balachandra performed Raag Yaman, followed by his special rendition of Visawa Vitthala, an Abhang composition.

Balachandra performed at Shri Khadke-ji’s baithak which draws selective but the most engaged listeners of Hindustani Classical music. The audience was totally mesmerized.
